Okay, so where do we go from here ? Better yet, is there anywhere for us to go from here once the Sun has been
blotted out, ( as according to many prophecies concerning this time, including God’s Word, as well as the Ancient Mayans) or by what ever means the Sun somehow does disappear ?
Of course, there are all sorts of conspiracy theories of how the Governments of the World have already made, because of some secret knowledge, or unreleased information to the public, secret tunnels and escape plans for… the Governing parties. There are also Private Sector Space Programing Shuttle excursion trips, which, if are just trips for the fun of it, then there certainly is more to the old cliché that money can’t buy you happiness, if those who can afford such an excursion have expended all the Earthly resources for any negotiable gratification possibilities, and are now opting for a privately navigated space shuttle risk into thin air just for the fun of it. Where does that leave us then? Those of us who do not have the resources to fly away to Mars …or to fly away period ? I can’t really answer that question for anyone.
I do, however, have a great security in my heart and belief that comes from a super-natural source whom, if we look at it whether in view of the signs in the skies, which even the “Mayans” recognize as the Tree of Life, or in the symbolism in Gods Word is the Creator of all things. No one else could be righteous, yet we can rest in He whom is and be not concerned in those days of darkness. Here’s another place where the Bible, or better yet Jesus Himself tells us about that coming day:
Luke 21:25-28 (New King James Version)
The Coming of the Son of Man
25 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
Now, I don’t know what this “Lift up your heads” means to you, but to me it means “Fear Not” Rest in Him.
Okay, here’s just one more point I would like to make on this fact before moving back into the story line of the book at hand. Does the Bible teach that we all must change ourselves and be as clean as Jesus before He will save us? No, but it does teach that He can give us the “Power” to change. But, what does that mean exactly? You may ask. Let’s take a quick look at it from the beginning of the Word of God from the Garden of Eden, and see how it carries through the entire Word of God with the same Truth, and concept, although in different terms and or symbols.
Within the Garden of Eden there were two trees (choices) that man was given as their choices to live by. There was the “Tree of the knowledge of good and evil” or, later introduced as the Covenant of the “Law” Which God warned Adam and Eve that the day that they ate of that Tree, they would surely die. Thankfully, within that same Garden, was the “Tree of Life” or, (JESUS). Now, nothing has really changed from that day, as far as our choices to live by go… of course there was always “One” other choice, and that one being to absolutely deny God altogether, thereby, either making one’s self god, or continuing to live without any care whether we live or die.
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
What’s this all mean in layman’s terms ? Okay, the “Tree of Life ” i s that which is a “Choice” That in and of itself, is Life!!! The “tree of the knowledge of good and evil”, as God told Adam and Eve, holds within the choosing certain death!!! Huh, let’s see, Life…or death…? Okay, I don’t know about you but, … I choose life.
Is it really as simple as that ? You ask. Well, what does the Bible say ?
That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Oh, by the way. I realize that many take the Bible to say that the Earth is only 5-6 thousand years old, while science claims to be able to put a number of four billion five hundred and sixty-nine million years to its actual age. ( According to the most recent studies. ) Either way, though I believe that we live on a much older planet than many calculate it as being from the pages and the words given to us within the Bible, we are here on Earth, at this particular time in history, and that is indeed the more important thing to look at in my opinion.
Regardless of whether 2012’s alignment of the Sun with the Dark Rift of the Milky Way is actually, as according to science as well as the Mayan calendar a result of a 26,000 year Cycle of the Solar System or not, most agree that there is something very unique, and awe-inspiring to its timing, as well as to its possible meanings to us here on Earth.
Just to clarify why I believe that the Creation story from Gods Word holds true, yet still supports some scientific explanations of man’s science within its confines, take a look at this:
Evolutionist claim that man came from the sea, based on fossils found called tetrapods . Now they have found even older tetrapod fossils, which, by the way puts a little more shade and not light to the time lines that evolutionist had previously theorized that fish a pods grew legs, becoming tetrapods, (4 legged creatures), and crawled from the sea to conquer the land. Of course, most of us know the rest of the unsubstantiated story, according to the
Evolutionists theories of how those tetrapods began to eventually walk on two legs and not 4, and became man. But, what does the Bible actually say, if anything about those 4 legged creatures, and Birds, which the Evolutionist also say came from the sea ?
And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.
Well, it certainly doesn’t get much plainer than that. Does it ?
I believe the Bible when it says God created man from the dust of the land, in His image, though, as you can see from the previous verse, that does not mean that we have to accept the time lines which others have derived, or assumed from the Words of the Bible, or from science for that matter.
The Bible speaks in many symbolic ways as well as literal ways, in my opinion in ALL areas of its depiction of “Life as He has given it.
Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
How do we acquire the Spiritual Ears to begin to hear what the Symbolic and Metaphorical ( Parable) language within the Bible is telling us ?
Choose Life !!! Accept that Jesus gave His life for you to live…eternally with Him. ©
